I’ve been a maker since early childhood. A chance encounter with clay captured my imagination and I’ve been a slave to ceramics for over 20 years.
A seismic move after 30 years from the small British Island of Jersey to urban Kansas City caused a ripple in my work that took me from high-fired primarily functional stoneware to mid-fired porcelain, both functional and sculptural work.
Along with my insatiable propensity to make, I bring all of my favorite components to the studio - imagery, history, color, and a touch of whimsey. I hope you will LOVE my work so that my lavish and excessive lifestyle will continue to be funded by the naive notion of making a living from my ART.
